There are a lot of additional endorsements that can be attached to your home-owners policy that you may or may not know about. These can include coverage for the following items:

Umbrella Policies
Umbrella policies are becoming more and more common practice for those who are interested in securing their financial investments. Umbrella policies provide an extra layer of coverage, over and above the limited liability coverages offered by your home and auto insurance.
There are a variety of factors that may open you to more liability risk than the average person. These include, but are not limited to; owning multiple properties, owning recreational vehicles, employing staff in your home (even part-time cleaners), having multiple drivers, or operating on non-profit boards.
